process of a Total Performance Programmes
The described concept and the improvement of the 14 parameters that lead to better golf are addressed in a series of lessons and meetings, and systematically evaluated. Both the static (golf club parameters) and dynamic (swing parameters) are analyzed.
The Goals of the Total Performance Program are as follows:
- To understand how altering golf club characteristics affects ball flight and how these changes help reduce negative club characteristics for the player.
- To enable the golfer to play their best golf while considering their physical attributes and needs.
Series of Lessons with Access to Complete Game Improvement:
- A series of 6 lessons/meetings, each lasting one hour
Lesson/Meeting 1
- Measurement and recording of the 10 golf club performance parameters
- Verifying the lie angle on the irons
- Discussing the golfer's expectations and goals
Lesson/Meeting 2
- Conducting a baseline swing analysis and recording areas for improvement
- Measurement and recording of the 4 dynamic performance parameters
- Use of test clubs and recording changes in dynamic parameters
Lesson/Meeting 3
- Conducting a swing analysis
- Recording swing improvements while practicing adjustments
- Discussing the training program until the next lesson
Lesson/Meeting 4
- Verifying swing changes and any necessary corrections
- Use of appropriate test clubs paired with new swing techniques
- Discussion of potential club adjustments (modifications or new clubs)
Lesson/Meeting 5
- Conducting a swing analysis with new/adjusted golf clubs
- Recording any required club adjustments
- Fine-tuning swing elements
Lesson/Meeting 6
- Recording dynamic parameters after swing and golf club adjustments
- Summary of all introduced measures
- Final discussion
Conditions:
- Time required: approx. 5 to 6 weeks
- Sufficient time to practice the swing changes before the next lesson
Costs:
- Cost for a 50-minute lesson: CHF 90
